Daniel & Ashley's wedding day was so beautiful! Between the weather being a cool and breezy 74 degrees (in JULY!!!) and their wedding taking place in one of the most iconic Cincinnati areas, nothing could have made this day more amazing!

I know Daniel and his family through our church. When he asked me to help capture his surprise proposal to Ashley last fall (see that here!) I was absolutely thrilled! What photographer wouldn't like to capture that special surprise?! And Ashley did not disappoint! She is just the sweetest! With her special pup, Odin, in tow, Daniel proposed to Ashley on top of the Ault Park Pavilion on a gorgeous sunny fall day.

A few months later, Daniel & Ashley reached out so we could get their wedding date on the calendar. And so we waited for July 2, 2021, to finally get here...

And even though thunderstorms threatened every day of the week, Friday rose bright blue and sunny with a lovely smattering of clouds in the sky. Guys, this weather was PERFECT!

It had been a while since I had seen Ashley since we had primarily communicated via email. But as soon as I walked into the hotel room, I could tell something special was happening. Ashley was surrounded by her super sweet sister, her beautiful and amazing mom, and all the people who meant the most to her. Hairdryers were running, makeup was being applied, mimosas were being poured, and laughter was plentiful.

The most precious moment of the morning came when Ashley finally stepped into her dress. It was just her, her momma, and her sister in the room (besides yours truly, of course!). Once all her buttons were done and her mom stepped back to look at her, it was hard for anyone not to get choked up too!

I so enjoyed getting to know this sweet couple as they spent their wedding day in preparation and celebration. I hope you'll enjoy these pictures (because goodness knows it was hard to pick my favorites... I could go on for days!).

Ashley, you were a BEAUTIFUL BRIDE! Daniel, you are a BLESSED man.

Ashley was escorted by her mom, who gave her away. As Daniel went down the steps to give Ashley's mom a hug, his microphone clip got snagged on her dress! Needless to say, this will definitely be funny memory from that day!
